# PackControl

PackControl is a desktop app for configuring the Loupedeck Live controller on Linux.
Made by Erik @ Packed

Sidenote: Please excuse my terrible code, i usually only code in C / Cpp

## Build

1. Install dependencies:
   - `npm install`
2. Run the app in development:
   - `npm run start`
3. Build distributables:
   - `rm -rf node_modules/.vite dist && npm run build:linux`

## Install

- AppImage download: `https://papp-box.de/downloads`
- After downloading, make it executable and run it:
  - `chmod +x Packed*.AppImage`
  - `./Packed*.AppImage`
- Install the udev rules:
    <sudo cp udev/50-loupedeck-user.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/
    sudo cp udev/50-streamdeck-user.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/
    sudo udevadm control --reload-rules>

## Contribute

1. Fork the repo and create a feature branch.
2. Install dependencies: `npm install`.
3. Make focused changes and keep commits small.
4. Test locally: `npm run start`.
5. Open a pull request with a clear summary and screenshots for UI changes.
6. Be proud, and know that I'm thankful for any help!
